Projektin Tila – käynnissä

Tässä talvisia kuulumisia datakeskushankkeen työmaalta Kirkkonummelta. Työt etenevät aikataulussa suunnitelmien mukaan. Alla käynnissä olevia töitä sekä tulevia töitä vuoden loppuun saakka.

Räjäytykset

Työmaan tietoon on tullut kysymyksiä räjäytysten voimakkuudesta ja tähän liittyviä palautteita.

Räjäytysten tärinäarvoja seurataan ulkopuolisen louhintakonsultin toimesta. Konsultti on määrittänyt tärinäkatselmusalueen, jolla sijaitsevia tärinämittareita seurataan jatkuvasti. Jokaiselle mittauspisteelle on määritetty yksilölliset ohjearvot, joissa ei ole ollut ylityksiä. Pahoittelemme kuitenkin räjäytyksistä aiheutuvaa häiriötä. Kiitos yhteydenotoista – haluamme painottaa, että hankkeelle saa aina olla matalalla kynnyksellä yhteydessä missä tahansa kysymyksissä.

Joulun ajan työt

Työmaa tulee olemaan osittain auki joulun ajan yli 24.12.-6.1. välisenä aikana. Joulun ajan pyhäpäivinä ei lupien mukaisesti tehdä meluluvan alaisia meluavia töitä.

Maanrakennustöiden osalta louhintaa, murskausta ja täyttötöitä tehdään 29.12.-31.12.

Liikenne ja työmaan vaikutukset ympäristöön

Pääasiallinen louheenajo ja maanajo työmaalta on nyt päättynyt. Talven kunnossapitotöiden myötä liikenne työmaan ympäristössä voi kuitenkin ajoittain lisääntyä, erityisesti lumenpoiston aikana. Lunta kuljetetaan työmaalta Sundsbergintien kautta Länsiväylän suuntaan. Lisäksi työmaan henkilöautoliikenne kasvaa vähitellen työmaan vahvuuden lisääntyessä. Alueella on käynnissä useita erillisiä työmaita, jotka toimivat samanaikaisesti.

Kestävä rakentaminen

Lisäksi haluamme kertoa, että meidät on hyväksytty jäseneksi Green Building Council Finlandiin, joka on voittoa tavoittelematon kiinteistö- ja rakennusalan järjestö. Toiminnassa on mukana yli 300 organisaatiota, joiden yhteisenä tavoitteena on maapallon kantokyvyn rajoissa menestyvä kiinteistöja rakennusala.

Olemme mukana, koska haluamme edistää kestävää ja vastuullista rakentamista sekä osallistua alan ajankohtaisiin tapahtumiin. Näin varmistamme, että pysymme kehityksen kärjessä ja ajan tasalla uusimmista käytännöistä.

Project Status – In progress

Here are some winter updates from the data center project site in Kirkkonummi. The work is progressing according to schedule and as planned. Below are details of ongoing work as well as upcoming tasks until the end of the year.

Blasting Operations
There have been inquiries regarding the strength of the blasts and related feedback. The vibration levels from the blasting are being monitored by an external blasting consultant. The consultant has defined a vibration monitoring area, where vibration meters are continuously tracked. Each measurement point has specific threshold values, and there have been no exceedances. However, we apologise for any disturbances caused by the blasts. Thank you for your inquiries – we would like to emphasise that you can always reach out to the project with any questions.

Blasting will conclude in early 2026.

Holiday Period Work
The site will remain partially open during the Christmas period, from 24th December to 6th January. No noise-sensitive work will be conducted on official holidays, as per permit regulations. Excavation, crushing, and backfilling work will be carried out between 29th and 31st December.

Ongoing Work

Earthworks and underground installation work are progressing.
Fencing is being maintained to secure the site.
Steel frame, façade, and roof installation work is underway.
Construction of the site’s social facilities is in the final stages.
Blasting, crushing, and backfilling operations continue.

Traffic and Environmental Impact
The main hauling of rock and soil from the site has now concluded. However, during winter maintenance work, traffic in the surrounding area may increase, especially during snow removal. Snow will be transported from the site via Sundsbergintie towards the Länsiväylä. Additionally, the volume of light vehicle traffic at the site will gradually increase as the workforce expands. There are also several other separate construction sites in the area, operating simultaneously.

Sustainable Construction
We are also pleased to announce that we have been accepted as a member of the Green Building Council Finland, a non-profit organization for the real estate and construction industry. More than 300 organizations are involved in the initiative, working together to ensure a thriving real estate and construction sector within the earth’s ecological limits.
We are participating because we want to promote sustainable and responsible construction and stay up to date with the latest industry trends and practices. This ensures that we remain at the forefront of development.
