Winthrop Technologies was a sponsor of the recent 2023 CIF Health and Safety Summit. It provided a great opportunity for attendees to engage with many experienced health and safety professionals.
Attendees were also able to learn about the high level of progress that is being made across the areas of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), construction safety training, environment and transport as well as mental health within the construction industry.
With the broadening role of the EHS professional, the summit proved very insightful, particularly the insight into how technology is becoming a greater tool in managing EHS on construction sites.
It was also encouraging to hear of the growing focus on environment and sustainability within the construction industry, and how the role of the EHS professional will continue to adapt to this change in the near future.
The topics discussed and presented at the CIF Health and Safety Summit 2023 will have been of great benefit to the company going forward as we strive for continuous improvement across all areas of health and safety within the industry.
